I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Dark Fairy

Here it is! Project 28 of my Simply Betty Stamps Challenge: Color every image in the Simply Betty Collection. That's over 500 images not including the new releases this year. I am just two away from hitting a milestone for myself... 30 images! Maybe I can fit that in over the weekend. I'm super excited about all of the encouragement and feedback from my followers.

Come join my blog and cheer me on while I work my way through the Simply Betty Catalog.

I'm coloring this devilish-ghoulhish-goblin dark fairy.
I chose her specifically for a friend of mine, Barbara, who is super fun in a sweet way or but also in a sassy way, and I just love that about her.

The last time I made her a card, it was with a sweet Simply Betty Mermaid, so this time, she gets the dark fairy!

I colored her with my Copics:

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E04, R20
Hair - N6, N4, N2
Wings and Horns - R59, R46, R37, R29, R22
Dress - G99, G94, G24

I kept the rest of the card clean and simple in black and white with decorative black photo corner die cuts and a sentiment stamp from Cardz TV, from the More Spooky Sayings set.
