I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

From Our Nest to Yours

Challenge #18: Christmas Critters

It's time for another challenge at ScrapbookerPhD, and I'm very excited to share my project with you. The theme is Christmas Critters. The inspiration for my project came from the Cardz TV stamp set of the same name, Christmas Critters. I paired the sentiment with the bird from The Alley Was Stamps, All Wrapped Up set. U used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the bird.

For a little more dimension, I embossed the blue background with a snowflake folder and smeared white ink on top. I sewed two red leaf buttons onto the bottom corner.

Challenges Entered
A Random Fan: Christmas
Cardz 4 Guys: Winter Critters
Loves Rubber Stamping: Winter or Christmas
Live Laugh Stamp: Winter or Christmas
Perfectly Rustics: Sentiment, not birthday
